BSA pleased with new play format

The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) competitions organiser, Kelebogile Ditsele, is satisfied with the way the new league system worked.

Under the new system, teams contested the second round as one stream as opposed to the previous arrangement where teams competed in their respective regions.  While teams still contested the first round under their respective north and south regions, there were changes in the second round.

All teams contested the second round. In the old system only the four top sides from the respective regions progressed to the second phase.
