BSA delays in appointing chief umpire

The position of chief umpire at the Botswana Softball Association (BSA) is still vacant after the resignation of Jayson Majase nine months ago. Majase left following allegations that fellow umpires were sabotaging him because they felt he was not the right person for the position.

At some point, umpires downed tools to protest against his leadership.

However, when he resigned, Majase denied there was bad blood between him and the umpires.
