BRU Selects Squad For Africa Junior Championships

FRANCISTOWN: A total of 11 senior secondary schools - both private and public - took part in a festival hosted by the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) in Francistown on Saturday to select players for the upcoming Africa Junior Championships.

Alecs Basetang, the BRU development officer said provisional squads for the Under-18 and Under-19 teams will be finalised shortly in preparation for the Africa event to be hosted by Botswana in May next year.

BRU is using the senior school competitions to built a strong team and to develop rugby in the country.
