He said they enjoy a fruitful partnership with the university, which recently donated the kit used by the Botswana national team, the Vultures during the Africa 1C Six Nations tournament held in Gaborone in June. A Cardiff-based club, The Pyramid Group facilitated the kit sponsorship.

“Pyramid Group director, Jeff Heasman has been a coach here. He initially made contacts with us when he coached disadvantaged children at Tlamelo Centre in Old Naledi. He had also been involved in coaching Botho Ryders who were promoted to A Division at the beginning of the season,” said Khumalo.
