Bright takes on Sundowns

Santos Mamelodi Sundowns at the Super Stadium in Attridgeville tonight. The match was initially billed for Loftus Stadium but was changed because Loftus is undergoing construction.

Coach David Bright has seen his side win five matches on the trot to move strongly up the table. They are currently placed fifth on 34 points and unquestionably the form team of the league at present, scoring 14 goals on the way to picking up a perfect 15 points since a loss to Free State Stars at the start of the second half of the season.

On Saturday night, they produced a rousing second half performance to see off Golden Arrows 3-1 at Athlone, a result that will give them great confidence ahead of their trip to Pretoria. Sundowns could only draw at home to Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday afternoon in a match between two sides that looked short of form and self-belief.
