Bright pleads with Rollers' supporters

Township Rollers' coach David Bright has pleaded with supporters to give him time to fashion a winning side.

Rollers have had one of the worst starts to the season, losing to Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Flamengo Santos. They have one point after a draw with minnows Boteti Young Fighters. The state of affairs has made some supporters to lose faith in the team. They have started questioning whether the hiring of Bright has brought any changes.

"Supporters must understand that the league is a marathon and it is early to press panic buttons. When I arrived, there were many problems in the team and I had to find solutions. Fortunately, we have diagnosed the problems," he said. It is understood that the management of Rollers told players to get serious or ship out during a recent meeting. This seems to have paid dividends as the players' commitment during training sessions has improved.
