Officials of Extension Gunners will face the Botswana Premier League (BPL) Disciplinary Committee (DC) next Tuesday over last Saturday’s violence in the match against Gaborone United (GU).


On Monday this week, BPL chief prosecutor, Tshiamo Rantao charged Mapantsula with one count of misconduct after the violence at the New Lobatse Stadium that left several GU supporters injured.  “The charge relates to violent conduct of Extension Gunners identifiable, alternatively, unidentified supporters contrary to Regulation 24.6 as read with Regulation 12 of the Botswana Football Association Play rules and Regulations and Article 51 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code,” BPL chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi said in a statement.
