Township Rollers’ attacking midfielder, Segolame Boy ended his goal drought in his team’s 4-0 win over Mahalapye United Hotspurs on Sunday afternoon at the Molepolole Sports Complex. Boy, who finished joint second top goal scorer last year with 16 goals, has gone 13 games this season without hitting the back of the net.

The nimble-footed player finally took the weight off his shoulders with a curled strike outside the 18-yard area in the 63rd minute.

The goal was Rollers’ second of the afternoon. Simisane Mathumo opened the floodgates in the 20th minute, heading home Boy’s free-kick. Lemponye Tshireletso then got Popa’s third with a clinical finish from Edwin Moalosi’s assist while Mandlaenkosi Sibanda hit his own net to give Rollers an emphatic win over the rookies.
