Bowling team faces budget constraints

Bowls national teams’ preparations for the up coming Commonwealth Games are being dented by financial constraints. The budget is making it difficult for the team to engage in international practice matches.

 

Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) spokesperson, John Gaborutwe told Mmegi Sport that the intention was to play some international matches before the Commonwealth Games, to be held in Glasgow in July. He said, despite that, players continue to engage in local competitive games including the BBA national league and major tournaments.
