Bowlers battle for honours in BOMAID National Championships

Bowlers take to the Jwaneng Bowling Club greens this weekend, eyeing a place at the World Champion of Champions as they compete in the Botswana Medical Aid Society (BOMAID) sponsored National Bowling Championships.

"The medical aid provider has sponsored the 37th edition to the tune of P20,000," Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) public relations officer, John Gaborutwe said. The Championships are the premier event on their calender.

The winner of both the women and men's singles automatically qualifies for the World Champion of Champions to be held in Hong Kong in 2014. "From Saturday 12 to Monday 14, the qualifying rounds of the fours were played.
