The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has accepted a request to replace Zimbabwe as hosts of this year’s COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup in September, Mmegi Sport can reveal.

BFA president, Tebogo Sebogo said that although loose ends are being tied, they will host the regional tournament instead of Zimbabwe. “We intended to host the tournament next year, but we have been requested to come in this year. He said the BFA felt it would be beneficial to host the regional competition in line with the aspirations of the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC).
