Botswana team gathers more gold

After a slow start at the ongoing Region V Youth Games, Botswana has started harvesting gold medals, which has seen the host country rise to third, as of Tuesday, in the medal rankings.

The men's volleyball team was the first to win gold for Botswana after defeating Namibia 3-1 in the final on Tuesday afternoon.

Hours later, Botswana had gold number two when swimming sensation, James Freeman proved too powerful for the fancied South Africans in the 400m freestyle.
