Botswana finish fourth in world championship qualifiers

Botswana national women volleyball team has finished fourth in the just ended Africa World Championships Volleyball qualifiers held in Algiers, Algeria with six points ahead of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Nigeria.


Cameroon topped the six-nation qualifiers trailed by Egypt and Algeria to join Tunisia as Africa’s World Championships campaigners in Italy in September. Botswana recorded two wins - against Nigeria and DRC in the qualifiers.
