Hence, a member of the Rustenburg 2010 World Cup Local Organising Committee (LOC), Obed Legobate has made a passionate plea to Batswana to buy tickets for the Confederations Cup. Legobate was speaking at a recent media briefing amid reports that 95 percent of tickets for the cup have been purchased by South Africans. Fani attributed the lack of interest to the low profile status attached to the Confederations Cup compared to the World Cup. The Confederations Cup is a dress rehearsal for the World Cup and brings together champions from the five continents and the hosts.
