Botswana blasts Blatter

The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture has condemned FIFA president, Josep 'Sepp' Blatter for his controversial remarks on racism in football.

Despite growing evidence, Blatter denied that there is racism in football in two separate media interviews last week. Blatter has since apologised for his statements, which caused a global uproar.

The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, in a media statement, said Blatter's remarks underscore the lack of seriousness with which FIFA treats racial abuse in football.
