Botswana Badminton players thrown into the deep end without coach

Over 30 Botswana badminton players were thrown into the deep end to compete for Olympic 2012 points with players from all over the world in the just concluded international badminton tournament held at St Joseph's College.

18 in the men's singles and  14 in the women's singles, all crashed out in the first hurdle. In the mixed doubles ten pairs from Botswana were fielded.

Although Botswana badminton official Moagi Gaborone says  Mmoloki Motlhala is the coach for Botswana players, Motlhala did not lend a hand during the international tournament. In fact he was also busy playing, taking part in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
