Boteti Young Fighters up for sale

Club spokesperson Leano Marumo said the management cannot sustain the team and has invited interested buyers. The sale follows the death of director, Ithuteng 'Mazola' Lesifi who was the main financier. Marumo said people who want to join the club as directors, and not necessarily buyers, are welcome. Marumo said the club's financial woes worsened after Lesifi's death in January.

Boteti is registered as a company although it is still run by the community. "We want to move from being run by the community and make it a commercial entity," said Marumo.
