Boteti Aim For Top Four Finish

Orapa-based lightweights Boteti Young Fighters have said they are aiming for a top four finish in the 2009-2010 be MOBILE Premier League season.

After finishing in the top eight last season, Boteti spokesperson Leano Marumo has warned clubs visiting the diamond-mining town to be prepared for a slaughter.

"When we got promoted some seasons back, we wanted to sustain our stay in the Premier League and we have achieved that. This coming season, we are aiming for a top four finish because we don't want to put pressure on the technical team and players by saying we want to win the league. Anything beyond top four finish will be a bonus but we know it is possible to win the league," Marumo told Monitor Sport.

As part of preparations for the new season, Boteti have already signed four players who they believe will bring the necessary quality needed to be among the best. Zambian forward Noble Bwala from Zamcam FC and Isaac Lungu from Power Dynamos have already been signed.
