Bosele declaration re-drafted

The Botswana Football Association (BFA), the Botswana Premier League (BPL) and club representatives agreed on the benefits of reducing topflight clubs during the weekend Bosele Declaration revision workshop.

The three parties met in Gaborone in the presence of visiting FIFA officers to actively review progress in the implementation of the blue print designed to fully professionalise local football in 2008. A re-drafted declaration with revised milestones was produced on Saturday. The parties were tasked with consulting stakeholders on the proposals that will be tabled before the BFA General Assembly. Should the assembly give the go-ahead, the proposals will be implemented at the start of the 2012-2013 season.
