BOPSSA launches in Palapye

The Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Lebonaamang Mokalake has said the Botswana Primary School Sports Association (BOPSSA) has been formed at the right time when government is giving sports maximum attention.

During the launch of BOPSSA in Palapye, Mokalake said the ministry encourages the bench-marking of sports development for purposes of enriching the skills and knowledge of young people.

He said despite the problems that the new association is facing, it staged national competitions this year. He expressed hope that the formation of BOPSSA will enable early identification and nurturing of sports men and women.
