BONA loses players to constituency league

The teams told BONA that they could not participate in the league largely due to failure to raise enough players and lack of funds. The five teams are Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB), Moshopa Lovers, Debswana Young Stars, Modipane United and Blue Aces.

BONA president Tebogo Lebotse said teams could not raise enough players as some had left to join the constituency league.
She said for a club to take part in the league, it should have at least a dozen registered players. The constituency league bars teams from participating in both BONA-run competition and its tournaments.
