Bokamoso starlet catches eye of Spar league giants

Bokamoso CJSS starlet, Boikanyo Selogatse caught the eye of Spar Netball League giants BDF Cats and Notwane after putting up five star performances during the BISA Games in Gaborone on Saturday.

The promising Goal Attack definitely looks like the next best thing in local netball. No fewer than three League clubs are believed to be interesting in snapping up the teenage sensation after she was instrumental in Bokamoso's three games. They beat Matlala 44-15 before dismissing Marang 33-11. They also beat Maoka 37-13 in their last game on Saturday.

Her teacher, Virginia Ketlhaotswe confirmed the interest from the clubs. "She's definitely a good player and BDF Cats and Notwane were interested in Boikanyo. But unfortunately we can't release her to any team unless they go through her mother," said Ketlhaotswe.Ironically, the youngster dreams of playing in the Spar League for defending champions, Cats.
