Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) has released the list of nominees for its awards ceremony scheduled to take place at Boipuso Hall in Gaborone on June 28.

Oteng Oteng, Mooketsi Lekgetho all from UB Boxing Club face competition from Kagiso Bagwasi of Diamond Trading Company Boxing Club (DTCB) in the race for the Male Boxer of the Year award. Oteng has won the award for the past three years. Last year, he beat Lekgetho and Tirafalo Seoko to the crown.

In the Male Promising Boxer of the Year category, Kutlwano Ogaketse, Mohammed Otukile and Kefentse Molalapata will battle it out. The award was won by Kabelo Bagwasi last year. Otukile was a member of the Africa Youth Games (AYG) boxing team and scooped a gold medal.
