The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) affiliates on Tuesday expressed concern at the high staff turnover at the sports body.

The affiliates made their concerns known during the BNSC ordinary general meeting (OGM) held in Gaborone on Tuesday.

"We have asked in the past about the high turnover of staff at BNSC. To our surprise, before we even get an explanation as to the reasons behind that, the top management, being the executive secretary (Kitso Kemoeng) also resigns," Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) president, Gift Nkwe said. Kemoeng is the latest staff member to leave the BNSC after 20 years of service. Among other members who have left the BNSC in the last 12 months is the former communications and marketing manager, Christopher Nkwe.
