BNSC plans budgeting and strategy course

The Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) will host a two-phase strategy and budgeting course for its affiliates next week in Lobatse.

The first phase kicks-off on Monday and ends on Friday when the second phase starts. The BNSC said the course is targeted but not limited to treasurers and secretaries general of affiliate bodies. Over 20 delegates divided into two batches have been selected for the course. The first batch will attend the opening phase while the second batch will attend the last phase. The course is aimed at giving affiliates the knowledge to run their affairs more effectively. It will help bridge the gulf between the BNSC secretariat and affiliates. Consultants from Business Development Centre will conduct the course.

The BNSC skills development facilitator Steady Basupang will oversee the course. He said they decided to take the course to Lobatse because most courses are run in the north.
