Botswana Football Association (BFA), President David Fani, has hit back at the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) following a decision to suspend the release of the association's 2012/2013 grant. Instead, it has emerged that the BNSC owes the BFA P1,3million.

Reading out a strongly worded statement at the Association's first media conference since January this year, Fani expressed shock and disappointment at the supreme sports body's decision: He said it was uncalled for, and has put BFA's image in disrepute.
