BNSC Indaba works wonders for netball

BNSC executive secretary, Kitso Kemoeng, said the association has shown vast improvement in the way it runs its affairs. "They engage with us from time-to-time on issues that they do not understand and we appreciate the way they are doing things," he said. He stated that netball is no longer characterised by internal wrangles.
Previously, women resented the domination of men in a female sport. BNSC called an Indaba for netball and threatened tough action after realising that the game was losing its spark. The council said then that it wanted netball to take its prime position in the hierarchy of local sport. By then, netball was characterised by indiscipline from both players and officials.
