After several meetings with the 2012 Olympics silver medallist Nijel Amos, the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) is positive that they will be able to help him.

The council convened a task team to meet Amos following recent reports of him loosing direction and interest in athletics to pursue music. The BNSC chairperson Solly Reikeletseng told delegates at the BNSC Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) last week the intention is to guide the Marobela-born star.

He said they set-up an intervention team in response to public and sports leaders' concern about the young man's seemingly wayward lifestyle.
