BNOC warns Pie Time over Amos, Makwala

The Botswana National Olympics Committee (BNOC) has warned food outlet, Pie Time over the unauthorised use of prominent athletes, Isaac Makwala and Nijel Amos, on its billboards erected in Gaborone.

However, the company has said there was no malicious intent, but the boards were meant to encourage the athletes ahead of next month’s Olympic Games in Brazil.

The billboards advertising the company’s products, also contain information about Amos and Makwala’s track records. The two will participate at next month’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
