LOBATSE: BMC continued their dominance over town rivals Extension Gunners when they clipped them 1-0 in a tension filled beMOBILE Premier League game at the Lobatse Council Stadium on Saturday. An 84th minute Keoagile Kobe strike clinched it for BMC, the Ezinkomo, as they continue keeping top-placed Mochudi Centre Chiefs under check in the title race. Hard tackles were the order of the day as both sides fought for the bragging rights for the hilly town that BMC have won over the last couple of seasons.

Fierce rivalry between the two sides was expected with BMC having developed a liking to pounce on talent from the Peleng side ever since coach Daniel Nare crossed over from Gunners last season. Nare has since recruited defensive midfielder Kemmy Pilato to BMC and his latest acquisition Hendrick Moyo has left Gunners faithful nursing fresh wounds. Gunners found themselves on the back pedal in the opening minutes of the game as BMC launched numerous attacks. Ezinkomo threatened from the first whistle with Moyo coming close to punishing his former side after being set up by another former Gunners man Kenanao 'Flo' Kgetholetsile.
