BMC coach Clever Hunda's future is uncertain despite saving the team from the jaws of relegation.

When he was brought in midway through the season, Hunda's mandate was to ensure that BMC retained their Mascom Premier League status, which he did on Saturday winning 1-0 against BDF XI at the SSKB Stadium.

"My contract ended on Saturday and I think I did what they asked me to do when I took over, but it is now up to them to decide. I have heard some people talk about next season but nothing official has been communicated to me. So I will be meeting management sometime this week where I think I will be able to know my fate," Hunda said. The Zimbabwean tactician further said that when he joined the team, the players lacked confidence and it was not going to be easy to get them winning because they first had to believe in themselves. "I won some lost some because I did not know most of the players. People would know that in modern football understanding individual players' mentality and weaknesses is very important if you are to have a winning team at the end of the day," he said.
