The Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) has said it has provided further proof to confirm that it is the sole owner of suspended Premier League side, BMC Football Club (FC).

The parastatal's spokesman, Tiro Kganela said they provided the proof on Wednesday to Botswana Football Association (BFA). This is despite the expiry of the 14-day deadline set by BFA and the subsequent suspension of the club from football activities for a year.

"I cannot tell you the contents of the documentation that we have submitted to the association, but I can assure you that it is further proof from us that this team belongs to the company," he added.  Kganela said BMC FC is part and parcel of the company's social welfare club. He said they have since submitted documentation, which would further prove that the team belongs to the company.
