BMC matter yet to reach courts

A party fighting for the ownership of BMC XI is yet to file papers with the courts following the Botswana Football Association's (BFA) decision over the matter last weekend.

BFA called the two parties last weekend and ruled that the club belongs to the Social Welfare Club of the Botswana Meat Commission, the parastatal. The ruling was a blow to the former chairperson and some members of the club who argue that it is a society.

The conflict has for the past few weeks left the transfer of ownership of the club to the Ghodrati family hanging.
