Blue Angels stun Bears in Shell softball league

Blue Angels made a dramatic comeback from a 0-2 score-line in the top four inning to beat Bears 12-9 in an exciting Shell Softball Men's league six-inning game played at the National Diamond on Saturday.

Angels had a subdued first three innings as Bears shot to an early lead and looked poised to walk over their opponents. But a solid fifth inning performance set up Angels for a hard-fought victory.Bears went 2-0 up in the bottom two inning with Kaone Sekate home run giving them an upper edge over their opponents.

Angels pulled one back in the top three inning through Thato Moengele. They had started off badly in the inning with Mogatsi Kgari going out after a foul ball that went to first base.Moengele's double hit saw him settle at second base. He completed his run after Bears failed to deal with Motshidisi Hunyepa's hit that went to right field.
