Blue Angels appear to be heading for their first ever softball men's league title after an impressive run.

Last Saturday, Blue Angels thrashed Dinare 17-1 in a one-sided game at the National Diamond in Gaborone. The Thebephatshwa side is perched on top of the log with six games left before the league is concluded. It has only lost two games, against Paper Club and BDF IX. Team manager Tlhagisang Masake said that their impressive run has been due to the fact that the players have matured over the years.

But now our players are understanding one another," he said. Having never won the league before has made Blue Angels players even hungrier. "They want to make a name for themselves. It would really be a huge achievement for everyone in the team. No one is being carried away. We respect all our opponents, and we want to win every game we play," Masake said.
