Mogoditshane Fighters believe they are on the resurgence after years in the wilderness. This is a team that swept to three Premier League titles at the turn of the millennium, but has been on an unremitting decline since. However, as the club turn 40, there is light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, writes Staff Writer, CHIPPA LEGODIMO

As they celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, former glamour club Mogoditshane Fighters would look back with some pride, reminiscing about the good years when David Bright made them the super club of the late 90s.

However, their recent history definitely paints a gloomy picture, a far cry to the side that won four titles in four seasons, replacing Township Rollers, Notwane and BDF XI who were the dominant forces between 1994 and 1997.
