Big club dominance worry softball official

The softball league committee secretary, Gloria Gaosikelwe has expressed concern at the dominance of big clubs in competitions and qualifiers. She is worried that the development is killing small clubs who are discouraged from taking part in qualifiers.

She was speaking over the weekend at the eliminations for the annual Barloworld Independence tournament where BDF IX, Blue Angeles, Police, Rail Giants and Carats qualified for the next stage. Paper Club qualified by virtue of being the defending champions while Wells and Gatalamotho are the hosts.
