* Zebras to know AFCON opponents tomorrow
The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is at an advanced staged in negotiating with a French agent representing Senegal in a bid to secure a friendly match for the Zebras early next month.

The BFA is targeting the November 11-15 FIFA international friendly date in Gaborone as the Zebras continue preparing for next January's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in West Africa.Mmegi Sport can reveal that the French agency asked the association to foot the cost of Senegal's air tickets, accommodation, insurance and allowances. Sources within the corridors of Lekidi Centre revealed that the BFA has already agreed and drafted the contract with the deal expected to be finalised early next week.

However, BFA will have to keep their fingers crossed that the agent settles for Botswana, as there is a possibility that the agent could be having more than one offer for the much-fancied Lions of Teranga."We are almost certain that we will get Senegal ,but obviously there is a possibility the agent may be negotiating with other countries that want to play them.  For them this is business, so they will settle for the best offer. But as we speak, BFA has drafted a contract, hopefully it will work in our favour," said the source. BFA president, David Fani cut a confident figure when asked about the issue.
