BFA finalises Zebras' AFCON programme

The Zebras will go into camp on December 12 as preparations for next year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals reach the climax. Botswana Football Association (BFA) president David Fani told a media briefing on Wednesday that they have finalised the Zebras' programme.

He said that they have reached an agreement with the Botswana Premier League (BPL) that the league breaks on December 11 until the Zebras return from the AFCON finals in West Africa. He said that the team proceeds to Rustenburg, South Africa, on December 13 where they will camp until December 23.

From South Africa, the Zebras will then travel to Qatar in the Middle East where they will use facilities at Aspire Academy before returning home on January 4.
