BFA defends hiked course fees

In the face of growing flak following a controversial decision to hike coaching course fees, the Botswana Football Association (BFA) insists that the funding they get is insufficient to cover costs.

This comes after participants at next month's Olympic Solidarity/FIFA High Level Coaching Course protested saying that the P2, 000 that the association is asking for is exorbitant.

According to the FIFA, the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC), with funds from Olympic Solidarity, is responsible for all organisational expenses of the course, which runs from November 1, 2011.
