Be MOBILE, BPL negotiations drag

The P24 million three-year deal under which be MOBILE sponsors the Premier League elapses at the end of July and both parties have publicly confirmed they are locked in negotiations.  But sources say talks are moving at a snail’s pace. “The negotiations are not going as well as planned,” said the source.

Yesterday, there were reports that a local bank is prepared to splash P50 million over three seasons to sponsor the league. The bank’s representatives could not be reached for a response at press time yesterday.
