BDF XI appeals sentence

BDF XI have appealed to the Botswana Football Association (BFA) for a lesser sentence following the docking of six points and a fine of P10, 000 after the club took the organisation to court, contravening FIFA rules.

 

BDF XI chairperson Boikanyo Addens said they had appealed the sentence on Monday."We have launched an appeal. We feel the punishment is too harsh," Addens said. The appeal will be heard on February 6. BFA chief executive officer, Keith Masters confirmed the army side had lodged an appeal.
