BDF VI have vowed to challenge for the Volleyball title

After heavy off-season investment, BDF VI have vowed to challenge for the Mascom Volleyball League title and The Capital BMW tournament championships this season. The army side last won the two titles in 2013. They have since made some changes ahead of the new season that commences in May.

BDF VI coach, Selebatso Mabuto told Mmegi Sport yesterday they had the same plans last year, but unfortunately things did not work out. He said they are going into the league with their confidence high. He said they have filled up some positions in the men’s side. Mabuto said they had to replace Agisanang Kuruna who is based in Serowe, making it difficult for him to play for the team.

Mabuto said their centre blocker, Moemedi Siphambe has been hired by the Botswana Police Service and he has since joined Police VI. Siphambe has been replaced by Pastor Kebabonye from Diphatsa.
