Runaway log leaders, BDF VI men's team are eyeing an unbeaten end to the first round when they play Kutlwano tomorrow in the Mascom Volleyball League as the first half of the campaign winds.

The match to be played in Lobatse, kicks off at 1:00 pm. The army side have won all 10 games and are currently at the top of the league log with 30 points. They only lost two sets in the first round of the league against their army rivals, Diphatsa. Their weekend opponents are placed third with 24 points.  In Kutlwano, BDF meets a bruised opponent that lost their 3-2 against Police in a closely contested match last week. Although their play has not been convincing, Kutlwano have not been doing badly with the defending champions winning seven out of the 10 games they played.   Coach, Selebatso Mabutho said although their last opponent is equally regarded as a powerhouse, they are ready to take them to the cleaners. He added that there is nothing special about Kutlwano and they have prepared just as they would for any other team. Mabutho said that their intention this season is to win the league. Young players like Lekedzani James, Temogo Moetse and Loatile Tiro have brought a lot of changes to Mabutho's team. Although the army side lost a quality player in Lee Tshipana at the beginning of the season, they have been able to fill the void. Mabutho explained that they have not won silverware in recent years and that was  their time now.

In other volleyball men's games, in Serowe, Victory Seekers will have a double date against Magstimela and Tanian before Tanian and Magstimela square up. In Otse, defending champions Kutlwano who have not been doing well, take on Kalavango, while Kutlwano play Police. In the women's league, in Lobatse, Kutlwano play two games against Dynamites and Mafolofolo. Mafolofolo and Prisons match will conclude the day's fixtures.
