BDF VI, Diphatsa's unbeaten start under threat

BDF VI and Diphatsa men, the only two sides yet to lose a game in the Mascom Volleyball League clash at the SSKB Courts tomorrow.

BDF VI are top of the table after eight games with maximum points, while Diphatsa lie second having won all seven games. It will be the battle of army camps as SSKB troops face their Francistown Donga based counterparts.

Diphatsa is the only team that stopped the reigning champions, Kutlwano last weekend and it remains to be seen if they will repeat their heroics tomorrow. BDF who have not won silverware in recent seasons seem determined this time around. Unlike last season, they started the league on the right footing and are tipped to fight for honours if they keep their shape. Even with aging players like Francis Dingwe and Pogiso Osupile among others, the army side has started purposefully.  Diphatsa will bank on enterprising Odirile 'Driller' Sibanda and Pastor Rebabonye to lead their onslaught. Kutlwano have started their campaign fairly well having won six of their eight games and occupy position three. Mafolofolo are in position four with 17 points. It is tough sailing for the Serowe based Tanian.
