BDF IX head for this weekend's Shell Softball Men National Championships with only one thing on their minds - revenge.

On a dramatic final day of the season last year, the army side was thumped back to back by their Francistown rivals, Scramblers.The soldiers were given a 10-1 drubbing in the group stages before being edged 3-2 in the final.

And after a magnificent run in the southern zone league, BDF would obviously want to extend their dominance to the national stage.BDF's dependable first base, Obusitswe Lekgothu said they were out to avenge last year's defeat. "That's exactly what we are planning to do. We want to go out there and redeem ourselves," Lekgothu told Mmegi Sport.
