BBF unveils new logo

The Botswana Bridge Federation (BBF) unveiled a new logo at Yarona Country Lodge in Mogoditshane on Thursday to enhance its image.

BBF president, Kealeboga Tangane said they found it necessary to revamp the federation's image as part of their development plan. He said they want to have a new image to attract sponsors and the public as the sport has grown over the past few years. "Bridge has made significant growth up to now, but it is not yet where we want it to be. We will be working hard to take bridge to greater heights," he said. He added that their wish is that each and every school in the country has a bridge club and the increase in the number of community clubs.

Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) treasurer, Boitshoko Tsiane said the new logo marked a new phase in the enhancement of bridge in the country. He applauded bridge for being one of the best run BNSC affiliates and urged other sport codes to take a leaf from the BBF.
