Bakgatla heir praises Chiefs

Chiefs enjoy the biggest following among Bakgatla. Since the league started, the Kgatleng giants have posted a 24-match unbeaten run. The sustained march to Magosi's first major soccer title has attracted thousands of supporters to games.

Kgafela said that it is too early to celebrate (pending last night's ruling by the Disciplinary Committee on Mara Moloi issue), but the club has made everybody associated with it proud. "The team has been fantastic and credit has to go to the management and supporters who have worked tirelessly for this achievement. This is the best team we have ever had in a long time. The past committees have tried to achieve this but for the current one to have done it has made me enormously proud," he said.
