Bagwasi brothers, Kabelo (19) and Kagiso (21) are hard at work in an effort to get berths at the next Olympics in Rio, Brazil in 2016. The two are some of Botswana’s brightest boxing prospects. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Botswana had only one boxer, Oteng Oteng.

But national boxing team assistant coach, Thebe Setlalekgosi is convinced the Bagwasi brothers have what it takes to make Rio 2016. The two are presently on an off-season break. They go back to compete in the ring in January next year.

The younger Kabelo capped off the good performance with a boxer of the tournament accolade, an award his older brother won in 2013.
