Babitseng beats odds to land BFA post

He danced precariously close to his opponents’ guillotine.But Tariq Babitseng has risen above a much-publicised fraud case to claim the joint second most powerful post at the Botswana Football Association (BFA). In this interview, the BFA vice president (administration) tells Staff Writer, MQONDISI DUBE his election is evidence of the faith affiliates have in him and the ‘Friends of Football’ philosophy.

Mmegi Sport: What are your immediate priorities?

Babitseng: We need to roll out the strategic plan that is in place. We need our affiliates to know the strategy (which was developed recently).
